Emily Guo, OD
Dr. Guo is a medical optometrist providing comprehensive eye care to patients including nonsurgical management of numerous eye diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, dry eyes, and prism evaluations for double vision.
Dr. Guo received her optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry graduating Cum Laude. She then completed a residency in Primary Eye Care/Brain Injury Vision Rehabilitation at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System providing care to veterans and active-duty military members. Prior to joining Dominion Eye Care, she worked at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute before relocating to Northern Virginia with her husband.
During her time off from work, Dr. Guo enjoys trying new restaurants and traveling. Dr. Guo and her husband hope to visit all U.S. National Parks one day.
